Mixtape 11 by CRATO by TISSUE Magazine published on 2013-06-26T21:33:35Z Dear reader, this is sort of a listening track mixtape. But not in that funky DJ Koze way, more in that shut-up-listen-and-learn way. Learn something about the more specific state of electronic music in 2013 and learn something about the musical mind of CRATO who actually gave this mixtape the title "6.7.1998". CRATO is one of the three heads behind MAGAZINE from Cologne (https://soundcloud.com/magazine-records). This very demanding and prolific music label run by Jens-Uwe Beyer, Barnt and CRATO is also known for its highly visual approach with special limited editions. Every single release is another piece of art. Their first ten records paid respect to the contemporary electronic music tradition of the German Rhineland. From their 11th release on they will switch their musical as well as their visual concept. Fans, stay keen till MAGAZINE'S next release on JULY 29th by WASSERMANN. Another fine piece of craftsmanship these renaissance men publish is their mono thematic book project PUBLIC FOLDER. There is a very special edition on the way. We are really looking forward to the publication based on the visual aspect of the Voyager Golden Record. It will be released this Autumn/Winter. Yes, exactly, that fine golden disc they put outside the voyager with all the information imprinted intelligent extraterrestrial life needs to know about human mankind on Earth. Don't worry if the search takes a bit longer — the durability of the disc in space is at least 1 billion years. http://magazine.mu The picture to this mix is taken by the Großmeister Walter Dahn for TISSUE N°3 — http://spruethmagers.com CRATO - 6.7.1998 (original title) TRACKLIST: Miles - Archaic Thought Pattern 1 Koreless - Ivana Miles - Status Narcissism Unreleased Factory Floor & Peter Gordon - Beachcombing Not Waving - Kesswil Jens-Uwe Beyer - Red Book Miles - Lebensform Ed Rush & Optical - Zardoz Not Waving - Kneecap Ridge Unknown Koreless - Last Remnants Pinch & Shackleton - Boracay Drift Svarte Greiner - Black Tie Keiji Haino/Jim O'Rourke/Oren Ambarchi - Only The Winding 'Why' Expresses Anything Clearly Queens - Yellow Pages Comment by citoyen5 wow nice 2014-01-24T02:47:14Z Comment by Jon the First Great mix 2013-07-18T13:54:48Z Comment by DrewDenikin Wow) 2013-07-15T09:12:05Z Comment by Translation(TW) Koreless- Ivana.... beautiful! 2013-07-11T08:52:11Z Comment by S ◯ L Λ R I S nice! 2013-07-08T11:00:31Z Comment by Johnbox :0 2013-07-08T02:15:13Z Comment by arepb Great.
